The New Balance Test Run Project 3.0 is doing its part in finding new ways to build a shoe more sustainably while improving its performance. Made from leftover surplus materials, this pair is constructed from a mix of mesh, ripstop, leather, and nylon fabrics. Each panel is made with a different multi-colored pattern and the tongue's pull tab states “MADE with SURPLUS” on it. Underneath the bold upper is a marble-patterned Vibram Ecostep sole, which is also created out of recycled material.
