The New Balance Test Run Project 2.0 “Black/Multi” pushes the product creation boundaries and creativity process. The Test Run Project 2.0 was conceptualized by Adara Dillabough, a Design Foundry Apprentice who was inspired by the performance running shoe Fresh Foam More. Here, the chunky performance-leaning design features a multicolor synthetic base with a yellow leather overlay on the toe cap and red leather overlay on the forefoot. Metallic SIlver leather eyelets contrasts the look with black overlays on the lateral panel and heel giving the shoe its technical footwear aesthetic. Blue and red nylon pull tabs aid in an easy on-off with New Balance equipping their Test Run Project 2.0 with a sponge-like black foam midsole that provides a cushioned, cloud-like ride.
